On my way to the street fish market in Dhaka, my guide suggested that I should not be wearing my expensive shoes as it will get wet and ruined. So we stopped at a local shoe store where they make handmade shoes and sandals.

I picked up one leather sandal at a bargain price. 500 Taka = US $6 - $7. Location: Mirpur 10 Senpara Parbata Street Market
